Shiyrah's Letter to Tipharah

Dear Tipharah,

"In the attitude of silence, the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal. Our life is a long and arduous quest after truth".

I love this quote from Gandhi. It is essential to our walk with God. In becoming a woman there are a lot more responsibilities. We must leave the childish things behind. But we do have one thing in common, we are women. And in being a woman we have a connection. We all have the same desires, the same needs, and the same wants. It helps knowing you are not alone. There is a path set before us and we don't have to walk it blindly. He lights this path with His light in hope that we would choose which way to go. All along this new path are sisters that can give you the things you need. They are all different in their own way. But all have something to give that they have learned. I guess this is the beginning of your quest.

Don't forget your dance. A warrior must always dance. It is from the beginning, it is ancient. Your sword should be truth. Always speak honestly, by first being honest with yourself and then being honest with others, for "faithful are the wounds of a friend". Keep all that is given to you close to your heart, this is essential. Love wins over all. Love is unconditional. When all else fails, it is the one thing that remains.

Here are a few quotes I thought you would like:

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy."

"Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it."

"Start by doing what is necessary: then do what's impossible: and suddenly you are enjoying the impossible."

"The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become."

Love,
Shiyrah
