Rose Creek Village Performing Arts is the branch of Rose Creek Village arts that involves music, dance, and the dramatic arts. We have an Irish music group, Kúla; an Irish and original dance troupe, WindDance; and there will soon be a brass ensemble, and a drama team.
We perform to express the love of life and joy of music that we have. We love how our music and dance creates a bridge between us and the audience; we are able to show what is in our hearts, and to experience what is in theirs.
Feel free to investigate further by clicking on the links to the different performing arts groups below.
Kúla is band of young men from Rose Creek Village who play traditional (and a few original) Irish tunes. They have played at venues such as the Pangaea World Music Festival in Jonesborough, TN, and the Jackson, MS CelticFest.
Kúla's music is laced with fire; there's so much energy in their notes and rhythms that you'll be captured; it's dancing music!
WindDance is a dance troupe of our young people, specializing in originally choreographed dances. Their dances are influenced heavily by Irish folk dance, and have a smattering of jazz, ballet, Hebrew, and other folk dancing. This all mixes to create an incredibly lively combination of movement and music.
